What is a Cosmic Ceiling?

Cosmic ceilings are not visible during daylight, but at night-time, an amazing transformation takes place! Imagine if you could have the night sky on your own bedroom or bathroom ceiling! Lying down on your bed or relaxing in the bath, staring up into the night sky.

Children especially love them and will want to go to bed and turn out the lights to see the magic come to life.

A typical bedroom ceiling, that’s fine during the daytime, but just black at night.

We can make it far more interesting. A simple photograph can not do the ceilings justice, in reality they have an almost 3 Dimensional look. As your eyes get more accustomed to the dark you start seeing new patterns and shapes

Black holes, Stars, Planets, Shooting stars, Coloured dust clouds, The Milky way, you can see them all at night from the comfort of your own bed.

We use special paints that absorb Ultra violet light and then as the room gets darker you can see the paints glowing. To give the paints an extra boost we recommend you use an Ultra violet light bulb shining on the ceiling for around 15 minutes which will provide the paints several days of glow time. We supply the lamp and Ultra violet bulb with every job.

Where do we work?

At present we cover Bournemouth, Poole, Ferndown, including Westmoors and Three Legged Cross (East Dorset) and over to Dorchester and Weymouth. However if you’re further away send us an email and we might be able to sort something out.

We are fully insured to work in you home and are C.R.B (Criminal Records Bureau) checked. We bring the certificates with us if you wish to view them

Difficulties sleeping? or Scared of the dark?

Cosmic ceilings work fantastically well if any one in the family has trouble sleeping. Starring up at the stars will help you relax your body and mind.

Being scared of the dark is one of the most common childhood fears, one that many people carry with them into adulthood, but perhaps are afraid to admit to anyone. With a cosmic ceiling children will want to go to bed and turn the lights out to see the magic of the night sky.
